The photographer was picking up some metal garden furniture that she had had covered in a metal weatherproofing process. The factory yard where she went to pick them up was full of other stuff that had just been galvanized, and they were such great photographic subjects. There were strong patterns everywhere, and everything was shining so silver in the sunlight. These pipes in particular looked like a silver flower.
